Chelsea Career: 2004-2015, 494 appearances. Who else would top our list? The Chelsea legend called time on his time with the club after winning his second Premier League title last season. The Czech Republic international became one of the Premier League€™s greatest goalkeepers, and won every major trophy available during his time in South West London.Standing at six-foot-five, he played with tremendous shot-stopping ability and a determination to win the ball that put him at risk of serious injury. Cech suffered a skull fracture in a collision during a game against Reading, putting him out of the team for months and leaving him with the iconic headwear he still wears to this day. Thibaut Courtois took the first-team spot last season, with no insult to Cech. Perhaps he would have remained with the club longer if it weren't for the young Belgian's thirst for first-team football. Nonetheless, Mourinho was left with little choice but to effectively put his veteran out to pasture, and a move away was inevitable. The Czech man has left a legacy at Chelsea, and indeed in European football. Petr Cech; a true role model of the game.
