Southampton 2-3 Spurs: Premier League Player Ratings

Spurs

Hugo Lloris: Poor misjudgement when he came off his line during the build-up to Southampton's second goal. Made up for this by spreading himself well to deny Lallana at 3-2. Better of the two keepers on display today. 5.5/10.

Kyle Walker: Quiet performance from England understudy right back. More action came down the other side. 5/10.

Michael Dawson: Never looks good when he is made to face his own goal. High line caught out twice. 4.5/10.

Vlad Chiriches: Made some clever forward passes, but that belied by the high line being exposed. Nice to see the Romanian back though. 5/10.

Danny Rose: Got away with ceding possession for the Rodriguez chance at 1-0 down. His cross led to second Spurs goal. Partly to blame for Southampton's equalizer at 2-2. Perhaps still not quite fully match fit. 5/10.

Erik Lamela: Needless and naïve foul on Lovren with his back to goal. Subbed after an almost entirely anonymous hour on the pitch. Aaron Lennon will return to this flank. 3/10.

Mousa Dembele: Played himself into trouble throughout his 50 minutes on the pitch. Athletic, but not a defensive midfielder, forced off with an injury early in the second. 5/10.
