5. Bayern Munich
Last season became, arguably, the best in the history of the most decorated club in Germany. Cantering to the league by a whopping 25 points, then vanquishing Borussia Dortmund 2-1 in the Champions League Final before completing the treble with 1-0 success over Stuttgart. So how can Munich top that? Firstly, well their European success opens them up to the possibility of two extra trophies being secured before the year's end- the Super Cup and Club World Cup. Secondly, they replenish and improve their strength in depth, in order to cope with the increased workload. Starlet Mario Gotze has arrived from Dortmund and Thiago Alcantara, despite interest from Man United, is reunited with Pep Guardiola. Surely, Bale's arrival at Germany's richest outfit will represent a triad of world class acquisitions. As Robben and Ribery, their perennial wingers, start to age, they need to rest their legs a bit more and manage themselves more sparingly. This then will allow Bale to grace the flanks with his pace and deadly shots. Or, perhaps Guardiola can accomodate all three of them and rotate Bale and Gotze in the 'hole' just behind the strikers. Either way, Bayern will go from strength to strength, regardless of if they are this bidder.
