Spurs manager Andre Villas-Boas is a big admirer of the 30-year-old and a deal could be on the cards, particularly given the fact the player is open to a move. The striker has openly admitted he is "very likely" to quit Lyon at the end of the season, stating: "I dont think it is possible for me to continue here." Lopez, who scored 11 Ligue 1 goals last season, is expected to cost £5 million, which is a comparative bargain when contrasted with other potential targets. Though his age is a concern - he is the same age as Defoe - Lopez represents a financially-attractive option.
