In a division that lacks depth, Ovince St. Preux has been making a solid impact. People see massive upside in him, due to his size and athleticism. Unlike Ryan Bader and Feijao Cavalcante, we haven't seen him squander too many opportunities. It's rather unfortunate that he's yet to be truly tested in the UFC. Cody Donovan and Nikita Krylov were essentially pushovers that he defeated quite handily. If only Thiago Silva didn't decide to go insane, we could have seen him against a former contender. The only world class fighter he's ever faced was Gegard Mousasi, which was only his third year into his professional career. While this isn't exactly a major step-up in competition, St. Preux will be facing a sturdy veteran. He won't be able to take advantage of a lack of fighter IQ like he did against Krylov. Jimmio won't allow himself to make silly mistakes. He's only proven to be beaten by better overall strikers in James Te-Huna and Jimi Manuwa. St. Preux will truly have to earn this one.
