Ukraine 0-0 England - 5 Reasons Three Lions Aren't The Superpower Some Think They Are

1. Joe Hart Isn't The Steady Hand Many Make Him Out To Be

It took less than a minute for the Ukrainians to expose just how shaky Joe Hart has looked recently. It would have been easier for the referee to award Ukraine a penalty early on that it was for him not to with the whole stadium calling for it, and Joe Hart didn't make amends for it instantly either. He looked shaky from a Ukrainian cross deep into the box, which Gary Cahill had to flick away before Hart could get there, followed by Hart himself looking too casual about clearing up the danger. There's no doubt that Joe Hart is a great goalkeeper, but something about him recently tells me that he is too comfortable of his starting place between the sticks. Therefore, for me, it's time for Hodgson to give Fraser Forster a call-up. The Celtic goalkeeper, who played astoundingly well in the Champions League last season, must surely be wondering what he has to do to get a chance to prove himself for England. Even if it's just during a friendly, I for one would love to see what Forster could do. The 6 foot 7 inch Forster has an impressive record of 105 clean sheets in his 205 career games and has assured himself as the best goalkeeper in the SPL. Fraser Forster is well worth a call-up for one of England's upcoming fixtures.
