Man Utd: 5 Reasons Sir Alex Ferguson Will Be Back Before May

3. He Can't Stay Away

Ferguson just can't seem to stay away from the club. Colleagues of mine call him the "ghost of Old Trafford" - indeed, he is in attendance week in, week out, and even made the long trip to Cardiff to watch United draw 2-2 in Wales last month. It's only natural that he still loves and cares about the club - having managed the Red Devils for 26 years, over quarter of a century, suddenly walking away from it all can seem impossible. Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger recently observed that "It's difficult to take a drug for 30 years and suddenly get rid of it" and in that sense, Ferguson is a 'football junkie'. You can't help but question, if things do go badly wrong for Moyes and he loses his job, if the lure of stepping back into the breech might be a little too tempting to resist.
