Man Utd: 5 Reasons Sir Alex Ferguson Will Be Back Before May

1. The Ego

Even though he is retired, Sir Alex Ferguson is still trying to exert control and power at Old Trafford - that's the view of former midfielder Roy Keane, who believes the Scot has "a massive ego". The fiery Irishman said of Ferguson in a recent - and explosive - interview about his time at United:
"Everything is about control and power. He's still striving for it now even though he's not manager. There's massive ego involved in that."
If Ferguson is indeed striving for control and power behind the scenes at United, it certainly isn't an inconceivable notion that he could take the reins back from David Moyes. Were he to do so, he would be depicted as a hero, stepping into the breech to rescue a mid-table United by taking them to top-four salvation - and there is, admittedly, a lot of ego involved there. But it could also become one of his greatest successes in management. Do you think Sir Alex Ferguson will step out of retirement and manage Manchester United again?
