Liverpool Transfers: 5 Reasons Luis Suarez Will Eventually Be Sold
4. He Doesn't Hang Around For Long
As well as having a reputation for his unpredictable temperament, Suarez is also not known to stick around at any one club for a great deal of time. The Uruguayan only spent one season at first club Nacional before moving on to Groningen in 2006, where he again only lasted a season, even taking the Dutch side to arbitration when they refused to sell him to Ajax, where he lost his case, but ended up at the Amsterdam ArenA anyway when Groningen caved in to a higher offer. He lasted slightly longer at Ajax - four seasons - but left under a cloud after being dubbed the "Cannibal of Ajax" for biting PSV's Otman Bakkal on the shoulder. He never played for The Lancers again, as he joined Liverpool during his suspension, and another biting storm would follow him to Merseyside. Suarez has been at Anfield for three-and-a-half seasons now, and history shows he rarely sticks around much longer than that.
