1. Michu, Swansea City (Games Played 29, Goals 16, Assists 2)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cLXWzsBfO3E Admit it. You expected this. Who else could it have been? Arriving from Rayo Vallecano for a poultry fee of £2 million, only a few who knew the Spanish Leagues raised an eyebrow at Swansea signing La Liga's top scoring midfielder for such a small fee. Since arriving, Michu has never looked back, scoring 2 goals and grabbing an assist in his debut game and since then he hasn't really stopped. Swansea's best performer this year has helped them reach 9th in the table and win their first trophy in 100 years. Considering the small sum in which he arrived for, and the sheer amount of goals he has contributed, Michu is easily the steal of the season. Michu seems to have that eye for goal that only great goal scorers have, and twinned with his spanish desire to win, has seen him being touted for a call-up to the Spanish squad. Swansea should do everything in their power to keep their talisman next year, but if they must cash-in, then a hefty sum would be needed to pry him away. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=X2jio4_Egmk What do you think?
