Some people just love drawing attention to themselves, and in the case of Joey Barton you really have to suspect that all attention is good attention. The self-appointed poet laureate and philosopher in residence of the Premier League joined in the Movember fun with his own well-tailored 'tache and seemed gleefully to accept the attention despite the poor quality of his growth. Again, great cause, but for somebody who seems to actively attempt to refute the claim that he's a bit of a thug, it's unfortunate that his new look put him firmly in the mould of a 1980s midfield hard-man.
