Arsenal Transfers: 10 Players Wenger Should Have Signed

5. Wilfried Bony

Arsene Wenger should've made a move for the Swansea City striker a lot earlier in the summer. However, when Bony€™s name was linked with a move to Arsenal, the striker was being suggested as last resort/a desperate measure €“ slightly harsh. Despite arriving in Wales having bagged the accolade as the Eredivisie€™s top goalscorer with 31 goals in 30 games, there was still an air of scepticism about Swansea€™s £12million addition. The Ivorian forward, however, proved himself in the Premier League last season bagging 16 goals from 27 starts and would€™ve slotted right into Arsenal€™s style given the way Swansea City play. Despite not scoring for the Swans in the new Premier League season as of yet, it is only a matter of time before the 25-year-old finds the back of the net. Which no doubt, will bring about interest from Tottenham Hotspur, Liverpool and Arsenal again, maybe as early as the January transfer window.
