Benjamin Stambouli hasn't been at Spurs long and, since he arrived, he hasn't really had much game time - but he's done enough for the fans to see that he's a more than capable player and they're often left disappointed when he doesn't make a match squad or doesn't get much time on the pitch when he does. At Montpellier - where he was a French league title winner - he proved himself capable of playing as a full back and a centre back before establishing himself as a defensive midfielder, which is the only position he has played in at Spurs so far. However, if they're ever short in defence, he'd provide able cover.
