1. Hugo Lloris
Martin Rickett/PA Wire/Press Association ImagesIf reports are to be believed, Spurs could be resigned to losing their French stopper (given that they have apparently
made a bid for Swansea City's Michel Vorm and Lloris himself has admitted to being
unsure of his future after returning home from the World Cup) - but the fact is that they should be doing absolutely everything in their power to keep him happy at the club. Like Jan Vertonghen, Hugo Lloris is undoubtedly deserving of Champions League football. He had it at Lyon before his arrival at White Hart Lane and he needs it again - he's simply too good not to be playing at that level. One of the best goalkeepers in the world, without any shadow of a doubt, Lloris is the captain of the French national side and, as such, has the obvious leadership qualities and experience of leading a team that would do Spurs the world of good. Leading from the back is always a good thing and with the ever-reliable goalkeeper as captain and Jan Vertonghen as his deputy, Spurs would have a core leadership team as formidable and experienced as any in the Premier League. So there you have it - five candidates for the Spurs captaincy if Michael Dawson leaves. Do you agree with these potential choices?
