1. Luke Moore
Turkey seems to have been a good sanctuary for British players in the past couple of years, with Scott Carson, Kenny Miller, Kris Boyd and Allan McGregor all joining the aforementioned Vassell in making the move to the country. All of them have since returned, but still, it's the thought, and some action, that counts, and Luke Moore is aiming not to become part of that unfruitful list. The 27-year-old had some good times in the Premier League, most notably in Swansea City's first season in the top flight, but a worrying trend developed in his career in England, namely that he was bought by a club and played but then fell away over a period of a couple of seasons. The inevitable melting away into the background at the Liberty Stadium proved the final straw, and Moore found himself joining an even worse Turkish side than Ferdinand's, or as they are more commonly known, Elazigspor, who ended the 2012/2013 season in 13th place. For the record there are only 18 teams in the Turkish top flight. Despite being a striker, Moore has managed even fewer goals than Heskey on his foreign travels, and has taken his goalscoring exploits in Elazig to a big fat zero. Still, could be worse, somehow. Just don't expect, 'Moore Cam,' to hit TV stations in Turkey anytime soon. Anyone else worth a mention in this list? Tell us what you think.
