The United captain would simply have to be in a mixed team between the two sides. He is certainly the Red Devils' top striker, despite not playing there all too often, with Robin Van Persie and Radamel Falcao faltering this season. The only question then is how he compares with Oliver Giroud? The Arsenal man is arguably the better and more complete centre forward, possessing a greater ability to perform the duties of a lone front man such as holding up the ball, bringing other players into the game and scoring a variation of goals. Both players have scored the same amount of goals in the Premier League this season, with Giroud injured for spells and Rooney out of position. Which ever player you prefer though, the versatility of Rooney would ensure he broke into the Arsenal team as he could be selected ahead of Giroud or perhaps in the number ten role behind him.
