5 Players Liverpool Should Sign To Replace Luis Suarez

1. James Rodriguez

The attacking midfielder has been one of the stars of the World Cup, with his five goals helping Colombia's reach the quarter-finals for the first time in their history. Rodriguez moved to Monaco last summer, for a fee of £38.5 million. Unnerved by the expensive price tag, the 22-year-old went on to provide more assists than anyone else in Ligue 1. Sparking rumours that he could depart for La Liga or the Premier League. A scintillating World Cup has only reinforced the belief that Rodriguez is destined for the big time. As an option for Liverpool, he is a mouth-watering prospect. The possibility of the Colombian playing behind Daniel Sturridge, while flanked by Raheem Sterling and Adam Lallana, will go a long way to accommodating the loss of Luis Suarez. The worry for Liverpool and any other Premier League suitors will be the presence of Real Madrid. The Champions League holders are said to be very keen on Rodriguez and, if they come knocking, it will be very hard for anyone to match their offer.
