6 Reasons Why Pardew Will Never Quit Newcastle United

4. He's Never Had It This Good

Since emerging as one of English football's highest rated talents with Reading Pardew has risen through increasingly prestigious jobs, from Charlton to West Ham and Southampton, but none of those opportunities rivalled the Newcastle job. In all cases, the teams were either outside of the top flight or on their way out of it, and the chance to work with a relatively upwardly mobile club (as Newcastle was when he took over) was a huge one. Even with the owner's well-publicised influence, and the early disappointment of not replacing Andy Carroll, Pardew knew immediately what he continues to say publicly - that Newcastle is a massive job. And with that in mind, he would be stupid to turn his back on the job, even if he's allegedly paid less than every other manager in the league.
