1. Marouane Fellaini
Along with Manchester United, Arsenal have been keeping tabs on the Everton star for much of the summer but neither have thus far made a serious bid for the Belgian international. The 25-year-old reportedly has a £23 million buy-out clause in his contract at Goodison Park but that will expire on August 14th, meaning the two clubs face a race against time to get a deal wrapped up for that price. The utility man's market value will jump in the middle of August and though an exact figure has not been disclosed, it is understood to stand at a
considerably higher amount than it does currently. Fellaini is a tough, take-no-nonsense box-to-box midfielder who can play offensively and defensively and carries a menacing aerial threat during set-pieces. He could provide Arsenal with a wealth of midfield options next season, such is his versatility, and could at long last add some much needed steel to Arsene Wenger's relatively light-weight engine room.
