Bayer Leverkusen vs Man Utd - How Red Devils Should Line Up
Holding Midfield - Marouane Fellaini
Marouane Fellaini hasn't exactly set the world alight since his big-money move from Everton on transfer deadline day, and has thus far failed to settle in at Manchester United. It always takes time for players to adapt to their new surroundings and Fellaini shouldn't be thrown on the scrapheap so early into his United career. Rather, he deserves to be given more time to prove he can handle top-level football. No offence to Everton, but United are a different kettle of fish, and though the Belgian international hasn't stepped up to the mark quite yet, that's not to say he won't. Matches away from home in Europe tend to be closely-fought affairs with very few goals, and Fellaini's height and power will come in useful in what I expect to be a defensive formation played by Moyes, and in a game where a draw wouldn't be the worst result in the world for United.
