Chelsea Transfers: 5 LATE Deadline Day Signings Jose Mourinho Could Make

1. Robert Lewandowski

Chelsea could take advantage of Borussia Dortmund's urgency to sell Robert Lewandowski before the closure of the transfer window. The Polish goal-machine is in the final year of his contract at Dortmund and can leave for absolutely nothing next year, meaning the Black-Yellows could be tempted to cash in now. Lewandowski is being considered by Jose Mourinho, according to the Daily Mail, and would be a terrific signing. With Torres, Ba and Lukaku all being linked with departures, the goals are going to have to come from somewhere and the 25-year-old is certainly not short of them. Lewandowski netted a scorching 24 Bundesliga goals in 31 appearances last season as well as 10 in 13 Champions League outings, as he fired his side to the final of Europe's top club competition. He appeared on the radars of many top clubs earlier this year after scoring four times in once game against Real Madrid as Dortmund went on to eliminate Los Blancos while he has already bagged two goals in four appearances this season, indicating another goal-laden season. One that could be spent at Chelsea. Do you think Chelsea will complete any last minute deals? Let us know in the comment section, below.
