Perhaps they'll take a chance on one of the hottest Asian talents at the moment. The 27 year old has been at CSKA Moscow since 2008 and has publicly declared that he would like to talk to other clubs as his contract is set to run out next summer, so CSKA look to cash in on their star playmaker before he becomes a free agent. Being a very direct player, willing to take on players with this dribbling ability, he offers another dimension to Everton's attack that may be vacated by Fellaini's departure. For a club known for their set piece threat, Honda can slot into that mould, as he has scored a fair proportion of his 64 career goals from penalties and free kicks. Furthermore, given that Leighton Baines may also depart, Honda may relish being top billing when it comes to taking set pieces. A potential plus point is his versatility, as he is able to play in midfield and as second striker when needed.
