Every Player Newcastle Were Linked With In June

1. Potential Outgoings

Papiss Cisse (Trabzonspor and Besiktas) The 30-year-old Newcastle forward is up for sale for £10 million this summer and, although no-one is yet to meet that fee, Turkish papers have linked both Trabzonspor and Besiktas with a move for the striker who hit 11 goals last season. Cheick Tiote (Trabzonspor) Ivorian midfielder Cheick Tiote has long been linked with a move away from Tyneside, and once again Turkish outlets have suggested the 29-year-old could move to Trabzonspor this summer if Steve McClaren deems his former FC Twente charge to be surplus to requirements.
Tim Krul (Crystal Palace) Newcastle's No 1 endured a difficult second-half to last season and that has forged rumours that his former boss Alan Pardew would like to take him to Crystal Palace, although the Magpies would not be keen to sell. Sammy Ameobi (West Bromwich Albion, Cardiff City, Wolverhampton Wanderers and Brighton & Hove Albion) He may have been offered a new contract at Newcastle but Sammy Ameobi is yet to sign it - and that has led West Bromwich Albion, Wolverhampton Wanderers and Brighton & Hove Albion to try and snap him up on a free transfer. Interestingly, reports on WalesOnline also claimed Ameobi could sign a new deal on Tyneside but that Cardiff City could then look to take him on a season-long loan.
Mike Williamson (Leeds United) A difficult 2014-15 season for Mike Williamson could yet prove to be his last in a black-and-white shirt with The Mirror claiming that Leeds United want to sign the centre-back for £1.5 million this summer. Moussa Sissoko (Paris Saint-Germain, Arsenal and Chelsea) The French midfielder may have popped up with the goal that gave Newcastle the lead in the all-important 2-0 victory over West Ham United on the final day of last season, but he has sent mixed signals about his future all summer. As well as saying he would be "happy" to stay at Newcastle because he is guaranteed first-team football there, Sissoko has also openly flirted with Paris-Saint Germain, Arsenal and, most particularly, Chelsea in the press.
Ayoze Perez (Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur) A £1.5 million bargain last summer, Ayoze Perez greatly impressed during his first season at St James' Park and that has led to The Sun claiming that Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur are all exploring the possibility of offering £15 million for the young Spaniard. Remy Cabella (Marseille) After a difficult first season on Tyneside for Remy Cabella, La Provence claimed that Marseille had opened talks with the playmaker to take him on a season-long loan deal back to Ligue 1. Although Cabella's father claimed no such talks had taken place, La Provence maintained that contact had been made.
