3. Instant Chance of Trophies
The realistic chance of Liverpool competing for trophies under Brendan Rodgers in his first few seasons are slim, mainly because the team is having to get used to a completely new way of playing their football. However, if Suarez was to move to Bayern then they already have the set up to win trophies and have a history of success in recent years. Pep Guardiola is not going to have to work hard to implement his system like Rodgers has at Liverpool because most of the players at Bayern are used to playing that sort of football already and have been doing so for a few years already. As we have seen this year, Bayern are right up among the favourites for the Champions League, already have one hand on the Bundesliga title and are in the Quarter Finals of the German cup; the chance to compete for medals at so many levels has to be tempting for Suarez, who has had very few opportunities to do so at Liverpool. Manchester City, Juventus and Real Madrid are also rumoured to be interested in Suarez so he will not be short of options at the end of the season. As a fan I hope Suarez stays at Liverpool but as a realist I also understand that the lure of Europe's top clubs may to too strong for him to turn down. What do you think?
