1. Pressure's Off
Arsenal have been written off countless times, but the team has always punched above their weight to defy expectations. Instead of languishing in mid-table anonymity. the Gunners have proudly earned its spot in the Europe's elite. The expectations of Champions League football will always be there, but we will be doing football a favor when we start picking up titles and trophies. This means that onus is on Manchester City to continually prove themselves as titleholders over 38 games, and the weight of the world is on their shoulders as they sludge through the season trying to out-perform their title-winning effort. Meanwhile, Arsenal will enjoy this time away from the limelight and slowly show their strength as they rebuild and recuperate from their 7 year slumber. So far, Manchester City have not dealt terribly well with the overwhelming pressure, whereas there is growing belief in the Arsenal camp of the team's ability to play powerful and attractive football. Regardless of the result tomorrow, momentum is on Wenger's side, as they try to continue their undefeated start to the campaign.
