Man Utd: 10 Stats That Prove Moyes Is Getting It All Wrong

1. The Death Of Fergie Time

Possibly one of the most damning stats of Moyes' reign is the death of Fergie Time. In the first 20 games of this season, Manchester United have claimed 0 points in the last 10 minutes of games, in stark contrast to last season, when under Sir Alex, United claimed 11 points with goals in the last 10 minutes of games. The idea of Fergie Time might be something of a joke now, but those stats are a testament to Ferguson's ability to motivate his team into putting their all in during the last 10 minutes. Even more disappointing for David Moyes is the fact that United are now more likely to lose points in Fergie Time than they are to gain them. The Red Devils have lost 5 points (the same as Fulham) from goals in the last 10 minutes - a 16 point turnaround from the same time last season. This stat, along with the previous 9, goes some way to exposing the errors of David Moyes in his first 6 months at the helm of Manchester United Football Club.
