Man Utd Transfers: 5 Reasons Why Fergie Must Buy In This Transfer Window

2. Who IS United's First Choice Goalkeeper?

Sir Alex Ferguson appears to be indecisive as to who his first choice hoalkeeper is at Old Trafford. Is it David de Gea, or is it Anders Lindegaard? Nobody can quite tell. de Gea has started just 13 of his side's 21 Premier League games this season, with Lindegaard deputising in the remainder. The Spaniard has kept only three clean sheets this season whilst his Danish counterpart has kept two, neither of them awe-inspiring defensive records. With that, news has surfaced that Ferguson is ready to ditch de Gea this month or in the summer, having targeted Stoke City's Asmir Begovic. If he really has given up all hope on the Spaniard, it is not better to buy in a replacement now before the keeper loses what confidence he has left and further contributes to United's defensive frailties?
