Before his horrendous tenure as caretaker and then interim boss in 2015, John Carver had taken temporary charge of the Magpies following Sir Bobby Robson's sacking in September 2004. Carver led the Magpies to a 3-0 victory over Blackburn Rovers at St James' Park to deliver him a 100.00% win ratio as Newcastle interim boss. Not a bad return but, as previously mentioned, he was the best coach in the Premier League...
