3. Christian Benteke

Much like Loic Remy, if Newcastle can dodge the trap door and send Aston Villa and Queens Park Rangers hurtling into Championship oblivion, there is very little chance of Christian Benteke staying put at Villa Park. The Belgian has been in inspired form this season and his 14 league goals in 28 appearances have helped put him on the radar for the likes of
Arsenal and Tottenham, meaning the Magpies would face stiff competition in tempting him to St James' Park. But if they can find a way to land his signature, they will have one of the most potent strikers in the league in their ranks and an answer to the goal drought that has followed Demba Ba's departure to Chelsea. Benteke is valued at
around £15 million and if the Villans do go down, Paul Lambert will be left in a very weak bargaining position when it comes to listening to offers for his star.
