Norwich City Transfers: 5 Strikers To Cover For Ricky Van Wolfswinkel
5. Ross McCormack
Norwich has a rich history of picking up some of their best signings from Leeds United; its a route that Bradley Johnson, Jonny Howson, Robert Snodgrass and Luciano Becchio have all followed. Therefore, it will be interesting to see if the Canaries fancy going back for a fifth time in order to secure the signing of Ross McCormack. If we look at McCormacks form and stats this season in the Championship there is plenty of good reason to target the Scottish international. The first and most significant point is the goals that he has scored with 17 coming in the league since the start of the season. The 27-year-old is also a fixture of the Scottish national team as he has won 10 caps, scoring two goals. The presence of fellow Scots at Norwich like Russell Martin, Steven Whittaker and Snodgrass may play a part in the transfer if it were to happen. McCormack also manages 2.8 shots per game, which would be an upgrade for the Norwich attack if he could do the same at EPL level. However, it would be very difficult for the Whites to replace his influence as the goals he has scored this season represents 49% of Leeds total league goals.
