Premier League: 10 Biggest Transfer Window Mistakes

1. Gunners Get No Striker

What do Miroslav Klose, Saloman Kalou, Dimitar Berbatov and Papiss Cisse have in common? Arsenal made a move for every single one of them in January, but somewhat spectacularly failed to get any of them. Arsenal are enjoying a great season and have surprised everyone by flying high at the top of the table for pretty much the entire campaign - a position they still hold. All is well but, like City, there is one thing missing: a new striker. After Theo Walcott was ruled out for the season the Gunners were left with just Olivier Giroud and Nicklas Bendtner as their only real choices up front, plus Yaya Sanogo who won't be troubling too many defences just yet. While both of the formerhave done well this season it's clear they needed help and that help was expected to arrive in January. It didn't, meaning Arsenal now have to battle on three fronts with only two strikers. Their inability to bring anyone in means that they may have just thrown away their best chance of winning a trophy and ending the drought that has run since 2005. Still, they could always give Park Chu-Young a chance... Or they might have if they hadn't loaned him to Watford. Which mistakes do you think were the worst of this summer?
