1. Spurs Could Buy A New Team With Cash
Spurs are a
one man team. There, we said it. Tottenham fans can protest, and I'm sure you will in the comment section, but deep down, if you really think about it, it's difficult to deny the Lilywhites rely too much on Bale. Selling him might sound like the worst thing in the world. I certainly felt United wouldn't recover when Ronaldo left in 2009. Yet, with £100 million from the sale of Bale, Tottenham manager Andre Villas-Boas could furnish himself a brand new team. Valencia striker Roberto Soldado - fifth-highest goalscorer in La Liga last season, second-highest scoring Spaniard in the division, a player of immense quality, could easily be afforded with the Bale proceeds. So too could Toby Alderweireld, Alex Song, Christian Eriksen, Leandro Damiao - there's five players
Tottenham could sign with the Gareth Bale proceeds. That, right there, sounds like a top four team to me. Players who would bolster Andre Villas-Boas' squad in all areas of the pitch. You see, with Bale, for the past two seasons, Tottenham have still been unable to qualify for the Champions League. Without him, and using the immense transfer fee raked in from his sale, ironically, Spurs could be in a healthier position than they are currently.
What do you think? Should Tottenham cash in on Bale? Let us know in the comment section, below.
