Swansea Transfers: 5 Signings That Would Prove They Mean Business Next Season

1. Wilfried Bony

Perhaps a more realistic transfer target, but an equally as sensational one, is Vitesse Arnhem's Wilfried Bony. The Ivorian has been heavily linked with the Swans this summer, with the BBC claiming the Welsh club are "close" to securing a deal. Bony was the Netherland's top scorer last season with 31 goals in 30 league appearances in the Eredivisie. Fans would clearly relish the prospect of seeing him link up with the similarly free-scoring Spaniard Michu at the Liberty Stadium next season, and that would indeed by a strike force to be reckoned with and one rivalled only by the top four clubs. A bid of around £10 million has been submitted by Swansea, while the player himself has been quoted as saying he wants to move to the Premier League. Bony has hit 51 goals in 66 games since signing from Sparta Prague in 2011, scoring two hat-tricks last term and also going on a run of form which saw him score 15 times over 10 consecutive matches. He would be an incredible signing and would give Premier League defences something to worry about next season. Who do you think Swansea will sign this summer? Will they be a force to be reckoned with next season? Let us know in the comments section, below.
