10 WWE Superstars Set For A Big Push Following WrestleMania 41
4. Fraxiom
Fraxiom lost the NXT Tag Team Titles to Hank Walker and Tank Ledger at Stand And Deliver in a moment most shocking.
It wasn't shocking because Axiom and Nathan Frazer had dropped the belts. This had long been projected as the plan as they had peaked in NXT. Their work was consistently stellar, and their characters were defined.
The shock came from who defeated them.
Hank & Tank, a pair of rugged, bruising powerhouses who can squat you out of the air as much as they can bulldoze you with their blistering speed, had been only slightly built up as credible challengers, their efforts coming as a payoff to their losing streak angle. That they were chosen to dethrone the best NXT tag team since The Undisputed ERA spoke one fact into existence; WWE wanted Axiom and Nathan Frazer for the main roster.
They have already settled into life on SmackDown, too. Arriving on the same night as a legendary three-team TLC match, there was speculation that Axiom and Frazer could have joined the match in a moment akin to WrestleMania 33's Hardy Boyz addition.
That didn't happen - and rightly so. Adding the pair to what was already a killer lineup would have taken attention away from the three teams who had a point to prove. Fraxiom's time will come.
