1. Joe Cole - West Ham (7.9% of teams)
Price: £5.6 million The former England, Chelsea and Liverpool winger had a pretty good start to his league campaign, and a goal and a clean sheet, along with an attractively competitive price tempted many to swoop for the 31-year-old. However, with the purchase of Stewart Downing, someone had to leave the line-up, and it was Cole who was dropped for the clash with Newcastle. He did come on as a substitute, but it's hard to see him replacing any of Nolan, Downing, Jarvis, Diame, or Mark Noble. As far as I can see, he won't play. Spend your £5.6 million on somebody else.
