Man Utd Transfers: 10 DREAM Signings David Moyes Could Make This Month

1. Mario Mandzukic

Manchester United may well find themselves in the market for a new striker this month. Wayne Rooney's 'will-he won't-he' flirtation with Chelsea rumbles on with still no sign of a contract extension in sight while Robin van Persie has been injury prone. The Dutchman is showing worrying signs of the patchy record he endured with Arsenal and, with no comeback date set in stone, the Reds have looked fragile in his absence. Which is why a move for Bayern Munich's Mario Mandzukic makes sense. Mandzukic is in danger of becoming surplus to requirements at the Allianz Arena with the imminent arrival of Robert Lewandowski set to push him down the pecking order under Pep Guardiola. A move to England, and United, could therefore be ideal for all parties, particularly as the 27-year-old has scored 10 goals in 16 Bundesliga appearances this season. These major stars have all been linked with a move to Old Trafford recently, but will any of these proposed deals come to fruition this winter? Given David Moyes and executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward displayed such incompetence in the last transfer window, United fans might just be dreaming.
