Marseille's Loic Remy has been linked with a move to a string of Premier League sides including Liverpool, West Ham and even QPR, as well as Newcastle. News broke this afternoon that his club would be willing to sell the coveted 26-year old, who has scored 39 goals in 95 appearances, if an offer from a "big club" came in. R's boss Harry Redknapp was reportedly spotted in the Marseille director's box with the club's director today as he hopes to beat his rivals to the punch and snap the player up. Quite whether QPR, who are bottom of the Premier League, count as a "big club" is up for debate. Newcastle will still be confident of signing the player, however, as Marseille are in dire financial straights and would struggle to resist any offer amounting to £10 million. Source(s):
