1. Loic Remy

Newcastle manager Alan Pardew has already confirmed
he wants to sign Loic Remy this summer. The Magpies came close to signing the France international in the January transfer window, but missed out when the striker instead opted for a move to Queens Park Rangers. The 26-year-old scored an impressive six goals in 14 appearances during his debut season in England but could not keep the Hoops in the Premier League as Harry Redknapp's side crashed into the Championship. Remy looks almost certain to quit the Londoners this summer, and Pardew said of potential bids for the Frenchman and Darren Bent:
"Both of those players are on our list. I make no bones about that. "But they are under contract at other clubs. It's difficult, you have to be careful. It's nice for our fans to hear names, but I don't want to disrupt other clubs' preparations. "We have a list of four or five strikers who will push Papiss Cisse, Shola Ameobi, Adam Campbell and Yoan Gouffran because that will be important next season. "We do need two strikers. Last year, I didn't think there was enough competition in that area for a Premier League team."
Pardew wants to bolster his attack force having been overly-reliant on Cisse last season, and, given he may not even have the Senegal international to count on next season, the need to sign a player of the ilk of Remy is now more important than ever.
