Newcastle Transfers: 7 Players Who Definitely Need To Leave This Summer

1. Yoan Gouffran

Yoan Gouffran arrived from Bordeaux for a cut price of £500,000 in January 2013, and seemed like an absolute steal at first. As the years have gone buy though, that hasn't been the case, and so many of his mistakes have left Newcastle in awkward positions.

Gouffran loves to try and take a player on, and Newcastle fans would no doubt love that if he could actually do it anywhere other than his own half. Or if his progressive play could see him troubling the final third.

Somehow Gouffran is still getting game time, and fans have voiced their frustration at watching him at various stages over the past two seasons. He might have seemed like a scapegoat for the problems of Alan Pardew's system, but with the manager gone, that excuse looks less and less likely to hold any water.
