As Ryan Giggs steps into retirement, he will have some wonderful memories to look back on, with an almost ceaseless list of accomplishments to go with the countless winners' medals to his name. But by far his best moment in a United shirt came in April 1999, in an FA Cup semi-final replay against Arsenal at Villa Park. The deck was stacked against United - down to 10 men, the tie was delicately poised at 1-1 and the Red Devil's treble dream dangled by a thread. But then up stepped Giggs, picking up the ball on the byline and dribbling it past a succession of hapless Gunners defenders before turning on the afterburners. Past Keown, past Dixon, and a belter of a shot into the roof of David Seaman's goal. The shirt came off, chest hair on proud display and United had won it, in the most dramatic of circumstances. United would go on to the final and beat Newcastle 2-0 to lift the FA Cup - part of a historic treble that season which might not have been were it not for a moment of magic from Ryan Giggs.
