12 Wrestlers Who Mysteriously VANISHED
11. Omos
Standing at 7'3", Omos is hard to miss—yet somehow, WWE keeps losing track of him.
Since his debut, Omos has had a stop-start career filled with long absences and sudden reappearances. But 2024 took things to a whole new level. After vanishing from WWE programming yet again, he unexpectedly resurfaced—not in the U.S., but in Japan, wrestling for Pro Wrestling NOAH.
In December, Omos debuted in NOAH, quickly capturing the tag team titles and looked like he’d finally found momentum. Then, just weeks later, he was pulled from the promotion and sent back to the States., forcing him to vacate the belts. The reason? WWE reportedly called him back—only to do absolutely nothing with him.
Since returning stateside, Omos hasn’t been booked once.
It’s one of the strangest patterns in recent memory: a giant of a man, constantly disappearing into thin air. Whether it’s creative limbo or something else behind the scenes, Omos remains one of WWE’s most puzzling vanishing acts.
